| The only way to see this state is by car, you get to go where you want, when you and how fast you want. The highways are very well maintained and very clearly marked. Road signs are visable and other commuters are courteous. What a pleasure.

Minneapolis - One of the two twin cities (St Paul is the other), Minneapolis is an affluent, thriving, clean and vibrant city which offers a wonderfully pleasant experience to its visitors. Minneapolis is both beautiful, with its many lakes and parks, and interesting with a good number of excellent attractions. Minneapolis also has a lively nightlife and emerging arts scene.
St Paul - The state capital of Minnesota, St Paul is slightly quieter and more serene than its neighbour. Despite this there is still much to do, with some top class museums, superb architecture and important historical sights.
Rochester - Situated in the south of Minnesota, Rochester is a large and interesting city. The city offers much to do, including some excellent attractions such as the famous Mayo Clinic.
Northern Minnesota - The northern part of Minnesota, which borders with Canada, is an unspoilt wilderness of snow covered forests and lakes. The area has some excellent resorts and wonderful national parks, of which Voyageurs National park is probably the most impressive. |
